I Dream of Siri is the 8th episode of the 4th season of The Boondocks

Summary

Granddad becomes frustrated with his android after seeing an iPad commercial. Robert causes a ruckus at the store asking why Siri isn't in the iPad due to him causing chaos he gets a free iPhone. After the iPhone suggests things for Robert, he claims he loves her. Although Huey finds it as a bad idea, Granddad doesn't listen to him. Granddad goes through a number of dates, although Siri doesn't agree with him, calling him desperate in which Robert re-acts.

  • The title is a parody of the 1960s American sitcom, I Dream of Jeannie.
  • The episode is a parody of the 2013 American film Her.
  • The phone Granddad most likely bought was an iPhone 5S, based on the shape and size of the phone.
  • Riley was seen holding a game called Super Auto Theft XVI, which is a parody of Grand Theft Auto V, but it's a similar cover.
